Here is a list of my favorite ways to use the garlic and also several suggestions from my customers:

1. Just eat it out of the jar like we’ve always done, like a pickle or olives. Delicious!

2. Garlic Mashed Potatoes. We’ve been using the smoke flavor. My husband now wants it 2-3x’s a week,
Chop the garlic, we like the bigger pieces, and add it to the potatoes after you have cooked and mashed the potatoes.

3. One customer pours the juice of the spicy dill on his salads.

4. Cut up cloves to put in salads: potato, macaroni, egg and more.

5. Mash the garlic cloves with softened butter to spread on garlic bread before putting under the broiler.

6. Mash the garlic cloves and spread on brochette.

7. Mash onto steaks during grilling or marinade for 1-2hrs before cooking.

8. Use in pasta sauces, alfredo fettuccini.

9. Cut slits in the side of beef or pork roasts before cooking, the flavor is subtle but well worth trying.

10. The spicy dill is great in Bloody Mary’s, in a martini instead of an olive. I have a good friend that likes to pop a clove in her beer bottle.

11. Melt butter, add minced garlic. Keep warm, dip your steamed clams in it. We first tried it on BBQ’d oysters and it was a hit.

12. Use as a pizza topping.

13. Mix whole or good-sized chunks of garlic into your hamburger before grilling.

14. Can’t beat the flavor in twice-baked potatoes.

15. Mix minced garlic in your baking powder biscuit dough, your bread dough, or bread stick recipe.

16. If you’re making your own bratwurst or sausage, put some chopped in the mix before putting it in the casings. Yum!! Or have your favorite meat processor put it in the next batch he makes for you.

17. Spread mashed garlic on your grilled cheese or grilled tuna sandwich before cooking.

18. Mix with your favorite BBQ sauce.
