Homemade Pickled Garlic
My name is Bunny and I’d like to tell you a little about me and how I came to making pickled garlic. Picking the name was the easy part. My husband of 44 years has always addressed every card and gift he’s ever given to me “To Rabbit”. It’s been endearing and sentimental and always makes me feel good. Making and preserving my products for family and friends has always made me feel good too so it seemed like a no-brainer for it to be called Rabbit’s Pickled Garlic.
I have been canning fruits, vegetables, meats, pickles etc. for over 40 years. I’ve always been a farm girl at heart and enjoy preserving the produce from our large gardens for family and friends. A few years ago I started making dilly beans. The kids loved them but all of a sudden it seemed like everyone started wrestling over the whole garlic cloves I put in the jars for seasoning.
I decided to make just the jars of garlic for them. The Spicy Dill flavor was born!!. In the year 2010 after I partially retired from nursing, I wanted to take my seedlings and produce to the farmers markets. While I was waiting for seedlings to grow and produce to produce, I thought I needed a fill-in so I started taking the Spicy Dill garlic to the markets. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed them. I was soon bombarded with suggestions and recipes of how the use it, besides just eating it out of the jar like we all had been doing. You’ll find some of their ideas along with mine on the recipe page.
After you try the garlic and have recipes you’d like to share, please feel free to post them on the comment page.
Now I have 5 great flavors from the mild smoke flavor to the fiery habanero. I’m hoping to have my dilly beans and pickled beets for you to try in the near future. I hope you’ll try all of them and enjoy them as much as our family and friends.
Thank you so much,
Bunny

I threw the Garlic tablets away I was using for arthritis as the Pickled Garlic worked much better. I won’t be without it
GeorgiaA friend of mine gives all her grandchildren my garlic whenever they start getting cold symptoms. They are better practically the same day. One time one of the younger grandchildren had a rash from her buttocks to her neck for a month. Despite antibiotics and various cream combinations, the rash was getting worse. She started giving the child my Garlic and within 7 days the rash was scabbed over and almost gone in 9 days.
